During the big rainstorm last week I was at my friend Ruby's art opening at Hovercraft. It was downpouring and I really wanted a portrait in the rain, which Ruby was up for, but I opted to save my camera and shoot her here under the small eve of the storefront after she had been walking out in the deluge.Ruby's latest series of paintings, which are beautifully odd and fantastic pieces, are showing now. If you are on South Congress, stop in at Hovercraft and see them.
